I remember the excitement of watching Crowded House’s 1985 debut on Australian TV’s iconic weekend music show Countdown. Dressed in their tailored suits Neil Finn, Paul Hester, and Nick Seymour’s energy and pop sensibilities hooked me in as they performed their debut single, Mean to Me.
Fast forward to 2021 and Crowded House is back with their 7th studio album, Dreamers Are Waiting. The first since 2010’s Intriguer.
Neil Finn announced that the new Crowded House line-up would consist of himself, Seymour, the band’s original producer Mitchell Froom and his sons Liam and Elroy.
